That being said I took his advice and tried a dish I had never even heard of before, the Seafood Chambertin. I decided on the Caesar salad topped with anchovies (and I love anchovies!) After hearing the scrumptious specials, we decided to start our meal with an order of the appetizer special for the evening, the Calamari Frite served with a side of house-made marinara. Never offered the pepper mill as the waiter was for his customers. Things got worse: never brought bread plates, took my knife after the relish dish so I had no knife when my1's salad came, brought meals but no extra plates for shells (lobster and clam). When she rattled off the specials we could hardly understand her. Our waitress came (name unknown, but young), never smiled once. A waiter walked by us, smiled, and said "that's good, a girls night out".
